Vintage Early Plastic Cherry Amber Necklace FABULOUS
The length of this fabulous necklace is just under 16 inches from end to end. It fastens securely with a brass, screw fastener. Consisting of 19, cherry amber, early plastic beads. I have tested these for bakelite and they don't smell when run under hot water so I think they could be lucite another early plastic. There are no mould marks and they resemble cherry amber perfectly. The smallest beads measure approx 12 mm in diameter and the larger beads measure approx 35 mm in diameter. Total weight is 60 grams.
