This book is a favorite that I read and reread as a child. I readthe original versionto my children after it was remade politically correct and now I read the original to my grandchildren. It\'s a storyabout a very brave, smart, resourceful boy witha loving mother and father. A wonderful classic by Helen Bannerman. It\'s beautifully illustrated by Ethel Hays.

It has a little wear that I\'ve tried to show in my pictures. One page has very light pencil marks (pic.8). There\'s a small tear on the bottom of the cover (pic.6).
