Thisis 7 ½ inches wide, 4 1/8 inches deep and 5 inches tall. It took 2 “Type A”flashlight batteries which I believe are actually “D” batteries as well as anumber 467 battery that is 67.5 volts.

Youpush on the Motorola emblem on the front cover to get the cover to open. Whenthe cover is opened, it automatically turns the radio on. It has serial number22624. Inside the back is a schematic which was stamped “May 2, 1950”.

Ourhouse was partially built before the civil war. The wiring is not that up todate, so I didn’t plug it in. Guess I’m chicken. However, I can tell you thatit has a generous amount of dirt and lots of scratches on the painted metalcase. The handle built into the top is pretty much useless, because it is sohard to get your fingers under. THERE ARE NO BATTERIES.
