??This wonderful Huge Genuine Vintage c. 1950 New Zealand Maori Carved Wooden Canoe complete with 4 paddlers all with original paddles (2 with shorter handles - end sections missing), feather adornments to the heads of the paddlers and to the sides of the canoe and inset paua shell decorations (2 of 28 missing) measures an impressive 115 cm long. The canoe is fantastic condition with no damage, repairs or cracks apart from those mentioned above. The carving is beautifully done and this piece has a beautifully aged patina also. It has not been stained or varnished like most later figures. The piece is 100% authentic. Measurement: 39 cm high and 115 cm wide.??Weight: 2545 grams (2.545 Kg).
