A charming vintage novelty Cuckoo Clock Brooch dating from around the 1950\'s. Continental in manufacture. Decorated with 38 Marcasites gems and enamel. The pendulum, pine cone weightsand hands of the clock all move and the original safety chain and pin are stillattached.
The clasp has been damaged in the past and has been converted tofunction as the Victorian C clasp brooch pins do. Slightly fiddly to get on, butonce it is on, it stays on. There is some rubbing to the enamel, mainly on the birds. The clock acid tested positive for silver. the other elements I have not tested to prevent damage.
