Synthetic“Quartz”crystal was invented in Japan during the 1950’s - they are synthetic and will test positive for natural stones on gem testers - but they are a glass. The setting is well made with a sturdy design that was made to highlight the refraction and brightness of the glass. There is a small prong repair to one of the settings but it noticeable only upon very close inspection. These stones are domed in shape with faceting all across the top and at the back of the stone. There is a little bit of wear and pitting to the surface of the clasp and the rest of the setting is bright and fresh looking. The crystals gleam with smooth surfaces and crisp faceting. Overall this is a sparkling and classical, synthetic crystal bracelet, that was made in Japan during the 1950’s that is in very good condition.
