Vintage 1950s Levis Button Fly 501 Jeans Big E Hidden Rivets Original Owner Nice For SaleFinally selling off the old jeans. Been in the basement dresser since I can remember, and I'm in my 50s. Recalled to be from about 1950, these were put to good use by a young man in his late teens, early twenties. I'm sure his waist outgrew his pants as mine have many times. I'm sure you will have many questions, and I may be able to post more / better pics if you need. These are the real deal, been in my family since new. Pretty decent shape except the left pocket binding has worn through about 3" and created a hole with the inner pocket. Hole not noticeable if worn. I measured across the waist on the inside and came up with about 16 to 16 1/2". Inseam measured 30 to 31". I had a young man try them on and they fit him well. He said he wears 30/30 style pants. Cuffs were at the floor without shoes on, waist was not too tight. Minor staining , maybe whitewash paint spots. Have not washed these, will let buyer. Cuff bottoms intact save for about 3" on left leg, but no too bad. I'm sure these were worn with the cuffs rolled up looking at the witness marks a couple inches up from the bottom... all the rage back then. Put these drawers to good use... I sure can't wear em.
