Description

Shown here is a great, vintage sewing machine for the quilter. This is a "Singer Featherweight Model #221-1". It was found with its original case and assorted accessories along with the instruction booklet and power cord/foot pedal. Also included is the key to lock the case if you like. The number on the bottom is "AK082955" which dates it to 1951. There is minor scratching on the deck and tape remnantsbut the gold detail is in great condition. It has its motor control unit/foot pedal but is cracked and worn and tapedin a few areas and would probablyneed to be rewired for safety. It does run and the light works. The case is in good condition with no musty odor. A great little machine for the sewer on the go! Thanks for looking.
