This is a 1955 Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine with Case and Accessories. The machine appears to be in remarkable working condition. The machine does run as intended. The gold finish is excellent. The black finish shows some light plate loss in one spot. The light switch turns on but there is no bulb to test to see if it works. I am not an expert but when looking at pictures of completed machines it looks like on the base of the machine a sewing bobbin attachment might be missing, see photos. The machine has many accessories and 2 booklets. The case has the original key. The number for this machine is AL916932 which corresponds with production year of 1955.
