Lush, bright action painting with almost iridescent quality. Thick, heavily applied brushstrokes of impasto are dappled and blurred in this magnificent nonobjective image. Extremely well balanced with vast range of color.Deep violet to high key lime green.
Signed and dated at lower right - Hutchins 59\'.
Oil painting on stretched canvas, mounted on archival matte board.
Excellent condition. Some minor smudging to matte. Painting shows overall craquelure effect from age.
Measures 20\" x 16\" with border. Painting is approximately 14\" x 11.5\".
