Vintage 1960 Harmony Sovereign H1260 Guitar:
$360.00

This listing is for a vintage Harmony Sovereign H1260acoustic guitar. It isin very good overall condition. These were made from 1958 to 1971 and because you\'re reading this, you know that it has a one piece solid mahogany back and sounds great. The model/serial number is very faint, but my dad told me he thought hegot it the year I was born...1960.These guitars were made with a one piece (not bookmatched)solid mahogany back, sides, and neck, solid spruce tops, and rosewood fretboards with a much louder and brighter sound than a Martin D-35. It\'s got some cool wood strips (as seen in a photo) along the inside sidewalls that helps with the sound. It\'s going to sound great straight out of the box. The action doesn\'t seem too high, but I guess that\'s a matter of opinion. There is very little fret or fingerboard wear, and the guitar plays great. The bridge is tight to the top with no lifting. The neck is tight to the body with no noticable separation at the heel.I took it to a local luthier who said the neck looks very straight and is impressive considering the age. It has a normal amount of finishscratches and dings, and a small crack in a spot on the binding. It also comes with an old casethat it\'s been kept in as well as a vintage 1960\'s Hamilton Capo. This is a used instrument and is selling as-is with no returns. Please see the full set of photos below and contact me with any questions. Thanks for your interest.
