You are looking at agorgeous 1960\'s model Calectro Dynamic Q4-150 microphone. This model was produced by Calrad, Midland, Monarch, AMD and a few other Japanese manufacturers at the time.
This microphone closely resembles the famous Astatic 77 both in size and styling. The Monarchmics never measured up near the same sound quality as the American counterparts but that being said they have a beautiful design with high quality finish.It should be stated thatthis mic has been tested and cleaned.This microphone does havethe original element and it\'s in great working order which is always a bonus for such old mics as this. The element is set at HIGH Z and would make a great general purposes mic or harp mic.The ON / OFF switch slides smoothly without issue and as seen in the pictures provided. The satin chrome finish is exceptionally nice withzero scratches or pitting. The black screens are free of any rips or holes and the joint mechanism works great. There is just the tiniest of wear on the front chrome grill...otherwise exceptional.
Microphone is easily a 9 + on a scale of 1-10 and they rarely ever come any nicer than this.
This microphone comes with it\'s original calectro box which is a real rarity and even has the original foam inserts. Also included is the original data sheet and 20 foot original cable which is long enough for any floor stand.There is a 1/4 inch connector on the end as well.This microphone has a classic Italian deco design that was very popular during the 1950\'s and 60\'s before the look faded out. If you are looking for something very unique in which to display...look no farther.
