~~Description:For sale today is this vintage Ideal plastic boat in original box called the Harbor Launch which is a Fix-It model where you can take apart or put together pieces that hold some accessories by using little bolts or screws. Of all the main parts, only the flag is missing, and just one tiny screw is missing from the motor mount. The toy is marked with stock No. 4713, measures 14" long, and the only structure issues I found was on the back, bottom of the boat as appears a rudder is missing, see Photo No. 11, part of the blue hatch cover hinge is broken, see 3rd photo, and a teeny blue piece that is right and below the steering wheel as looks like it might have had a handle of sorts, shown better in 9th photo, but very minor things.

The boat has a lot of very sound parts, there are a number of spots where the plastic shows some white discoloring, really not sure what that means, could be a wax of sorts, but boat still looks pretty good overall. There is normal play but nothing bad, meaning no bad dings or bad scratches, windshield has pretend wiper marks, hull is still pretty good despite the rudder issue, the spots for ropes are good, little spots that hold the boat hook are good, compass is still moving, little red shift lever good, horn, light and anchor are included, the red bracket holding life rafts and tiny things called belaying pins remains fine, just some normal issues with loss of luster or finish. Motor cover is intact with all 4 tabs in corners, missing a tiny bolt at one end, filter is there, ladder is good, anchor good, rear hatch cover with molded life raft is good and little lights are intact that are fake. There is a wrench to wind up anchor and wrench for the tiny bolts, both are fine. Has the fire ext. as well. Lots of neat accessories that remain in fine shape.

The box has lost all the original tape that holds the sides so there are remains there, but box is all there, just has fading and surface wear as well as numerous wrinkles. Has the little pop up captains head that is bent, but still intact, has numerous edge and corner dings, but even with the wear and ageing, it still displays well with the toy sure to check out the photo's very closely, as well as the other items that will be listed!
