Up for sale is a Vintage “Singer Sewing Machine Oil” Advertising Tin! This metal oil can is from the 1960s with a 30¢ price marked on it. It has great vintage Singer advertising graphics in green and dark pink on a white background, including the Singer logo and zig-zag border. This is “A specially prepared lubricant for household sewing machines” distributed by the Singer Company. The tin can measures about 3⅞” tall x 2⅛” wide x 1” deep (overall 5” tall to top of cap). As shown in the photos, this vintage container is in very good condition for its age, with nice bright colors and details. It does have a little surface wear, including a few scratches, marks, dents or dings, and color loss that you would expect for such an old tin container. The top and bottom of the tin can are still nice and shiny. The original small green top cap is in place on its green plastic spout. The container is empty but there may still be some residual oil inside. This vintage Singer Sewing Machine Oil advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
