Here we have awonderful vintage & all original Ward Baking Company wood carrying crate with bright, vibrant & visible black graphics.

This 1960\'s New York Ward Baking box is in super all original condition with a a great time aged patina on the surface.

WARD BAKING CO. NEW YORK, N.Y. 5-60 is printed on two sides and the black graphics are super visible, bright and vibrant.

Made mostly of pinewood, this crate has carved handles, slat bottom, oakwood runners and iron banded ends.

This is a awesome display piece with some great New York City history, it measures 22 1/2\" long, 12 1/4\" wide & 5 1/4\" tall.

It was made in May of 1960 as noted in the printing, it is solid, sturdy & substantial weighing in at 6 pounds 3 ounces.

Ward Baking started in 1849 on Broome St. in NYC, they had a presents in the Bronx and called Brooklyn their headquarters for many years.

They were the makers of Tip-Top bread and through acquisitions produced lage brands like Wonder Bread &Hostess cakes.

Throughout the years, the New York City operationsproducedall of the Ward breads sold in the Metro NYC area.

There is light wear & evidence of use on this box, minimal loss to the graphics, sporadic scratching, chips and cracks.

This is awonderful vintage all original Ward Baking Company wood crate andit will make asuper display or addition to any collection.

The antique items in the crate for the photos are not included in this sale and were used for display purposes only.
