guitar is a wonderful example of a mid 60's Gibson flat top. Some of these are over-built, but this one is
as light as some of their 50's guitars that I have owned. The
original adjustable bridge has been replaced by a beautiful Brazilian rosewood
bridge. The original finish is in excellent condition and the cherry-burst is
still vibrant. This guitar sounds as good as you could ever find for a 1965. I see
some finish-crazing but it appears to be crack-free. The action is a little
under 4/32's at the 12th fret, and plenty of saddle is left. This guitar should
be good to go for many years in the future. I've owned a lot of old Gibson jumbosand
this is one of my favorites. Please look
at the pics CAREFULLY and ask questions if necessary. We want you to be happy with your purchase. It comes with a newer hard shell case. Thanks!
