This is a first pattern M-65 jacket made by Alpha Industries in 1966: this is known to experts thanks to the contract number DSA-100-817, which you can see on close-up # 12.
As it is a first pattern, the jacket has no epaulets, as you may notice in the photos.It has the original name patch and US Army patch from the Vietnam era.
It is size small long. Actual measurements when flat are:
- 22\" across the chest, pit to pit;
- 26\" from shoulder seam to edge of cuff;
- 18\" shoulder to shoulder across the front;
- 32\" from collar seam to hem along the back.
