We ship Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (as long as the USPS is open). If shipping day falls on a holiday we ship the following business day.

Shipping in the Continental US is First Class Mail or Priority Mail (depending on weight and value of item) with Delivery Confirmation unless otherwise noted. We ship within 2 business days of receiving payment. Shipping within the USA takes about 2-5 days depending on location.

We ship First Class International or Priority Mail International (depending on weight and value of item).

Unfortunately we do restict the Countries we ship to. If your Country is excluded from our sale please email us. We may be able to ship to your Country for an additional fee for registered mail.

We are in no ways responsible for any customs fees for international shipping... including Duty Fees and VAT (Value Added Tax) Fees. We cannot guarantee the delivery time of International packages (generally it takes 7-10 business days). If your item is not received after 30 business days please contact us. If the package is declared lost by the USPS we will refund the item plus shipping fees 100% (the USPS usually lets us know the official status of a package within 48 hours).

When buying vintage furs please factor in that this is an especially delicate item to invest in. We always always ALWAYS do our best to spot \"red Flags\" prior to investing in fur pieces (mildew, stains, stiff pelts, tears or shedding). Most furs have a life expectancy of 30+ years UNLESS they were not stored in a climate controlled Environment. We am not the original owner of any of the furs we sell. That being said we can not be 100% certain how the furs have been stored by their previous owners.

Fabric of items may crease temporarily during shipping - we use a professional grade commercial streamer prior to shooting items. We will not consider returns on items that have been ironed causing the fabric to burn or melt. If you are a serious collector of vintage and designer pieces we recommend you invest in a good garment steamer. Trust us - it is one of the best investments we have ever made!

In no way do we alter images to hide damage to items. We always try our best to convey the true color of the garment - however, variations in color can occur in different computer monitors. We rarely modify my items to cater to modern trends (for instance mullet hemlines). Occasionally we may take a hem up if the garment is damaged and can be resurrected by doing so. All modifications will be clearly noted.

Most of our items are either hand-washed with Woolite or professionally dry-cleaned (with the exception of some coats and extremely delicate antique items) - some items are spot treated with a professional grade dry-cleaning solution called AFTA (great product BTW) in order to remove difficult stains. We do store our vintage furs with our clothing in our studio and also in our retail boutique. If you are highly sensitive to dry-cleaning solvents, perfumes from detergents, dust or fur please consider this before offerding on our items.

Pretty please note that all sales are final!!! We devote A LOT of time to hand select, inspect and measure the items we offer. Accurate measurements are taken by laying the garment flat and doubling the numbers for bust, waist and hips. Any imperfections will be listed in the CONDITION section. Vintage items have a previous loved history, thus having been pre-owned, they will show signs of their past life.

Payment is expected within 3 days of the end of sale. If payment is not received by the 4th day after the sale closes a \"non-paying buyer\" claim will be automatically opened by .

We cannot emphasize enough to check the dimensions provided on our listing prior to offerding. We provide an estimate of size for all garments using the sizing chart provided above as a reference for our estimates. Some garments may be pinned back on mannequin or model to show correct fit of garment and if so this is clearly noted in the item description. We buy and sell ALL SIZES and have expertise knowledge of \"fit\" - email us if in doubt about garment sizing (we love helping our customers). If you see a item you LOVE listed that is too small or large for you feel free to email us requesting that our buyers keep their eyes open for a similar item during one of our many buying sprees - THERE IS NOTHING WE LOVE MORE THAN THE HUNT!

We will not return items due to broken zippers. ALL zippers have been tested, on track and functioning prior to shipment. We love the history behind vintage zippers and we believe they contribute to the over-all charm of the vintage garment - however be warned that some vintage zippers can be a tad more difficult to use compared to modern zippers. A trick we have learned is to GENTLY run a dry bar of soap over the teeth of the zipper to ease function. Careful though - they sometimes get fussy like to \"bite\" the delicate fabric surrounding the teeth!!! Remember you are dealing with a historical garment - treat it with respect and be gentle - and if it don\'t fit don\'t force it! VINTAGE ITEMS ARE TRUELY ONE OF A KIND!

For insurance purposes we take professional high resolution quality images of each item before they ship.

We tag all items prior to shipment. Once you remove the tags we will make the assumption that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. We are not responsible for any damage to the garment after tags are removed. We will not consider a return unless original tags and tagger tails are attached to garment.

Here at Jolly Gargoyle we are pretty \"cool\" at resolving any issues with our buyers. We believe communication is key for a flawless sale! We may offer a credit or a refund on final sale items ONLY if the description of the item was GROSSLY misinterpreted (aka MAJOR damage that was not noted in description or sizing measurements provided in listing were way off). Please acknowledge this policy before offerding on our items. Returns or exchanges will NOT be accepted due to sizing issues or minor blemishes.

If your item arrives damaged and you wish to request a refund or credit be prepared to include ALL of the following with your request within 24 hours of delivery confirmation:

1.) Images of the damage to the actual item. 2.) Images of the damage to the package it was shipped in (if any - Also please do not toss away the damaged packaging. A claim can be filed with USPS if appropriate evidence of a damaged shipment is presented). 3.) All tags on the item must be intact for consideration of refund or exchange.

*** If you smoke and receive a damaged item please immediately enclose the item in a airtight container (for instance a trash bag) and store somewhere far far away from smoke until you can ship item back to us. We will not consider a refund or exchange if an item is returned to us smelling of smoke.

If you cannot send the requested images and information within 24 hours there will be NO RETURN, NO EXCHANGE - NO EXCEPTION!!!

If a refund or credit is agreed upon damaged items must be shipped back to us with a return Delivery Confirmation no more than 2 business days.

Like mentioned before – we are pretty \"cool\" with resolving any issues our customers may have. We are completely open to hearing out any response and opinions about the transaction as long as they are conveyed to us tastefully and rationally.
