Vintage 1970s Original Napa Lighted Pam Clock 15x15" Convex Glass Lens Excellent For Sale
For your consideration is this awesome lighted clock advertising NAPA auto parts. Just glass and metal in its construction -- no plastic! It was made PAM Clock Corp. of Mount Vernon, N.Y.as marked on the lower front edge of the clock face and shown in the fourth photo. The clock has a convex-shaped glass lens that "bubbles" up about 1" from its edges to its center. The NAPA logo and hour numbers on the face are reverse printed on the glass face. Behind the glass face are two light bulbs and the electric (110-volt) clock motor. The clock is in good working condition. The ROG face has some crackling in its finish as you can see in the lower left and lower right corners, but the finish on the face is solid. Everything is original to the clock and it keeps accurate time. The brass ring that goes around the clock has areas of tarnish as seen in the photos. As shown in the photos of the metal back, the round cover that is latched for opening when changing bulbs originally had a tape hinge which has since deteriorated -- this is typical of PAM clocks made at that time. You could put another piece of tape there or add a real hinge -- I left it as is. The original knob for changing the time is still at the bottom of the clock and still works.
Guaranteed authentic and original -- I do not sell reproductions. Thisclock has not been touched up or repaired in any way, though its power cord has been replaced. I am selling this with .
