So, I don\'t play my 12 strings all that often but I have 3 really nice ones. I\'m a large guitar kinda guy and love my F 212 XL and JF 65 12. I don\'t need a 3rd so this one is for sale.
It is a vintage 1973 F 112 in a sunburst finish. You don\'t see that finish coming up often on guitars listed on Reverb and . I like it. So, it is a Jumbo shaped guitar but based upon the F 30 specs so it\'s smaller and much easier to handle for many folks. It has a solid Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides. It has a Mahogany neck with a 14/20 Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. (looks to me like the bridge had been replaced sometime before I picked it up. It has the Chesterfield logo headstock and 6 per side chrome tuning machines.
So, about the guitar now. There are no issues here. The neck angle is excellent with plenty of saddle room remaining. (Low E string height is about 9/64\" at the 12th fret). There is very light fret wear, in fact hardly worth mentioning. There are no cracks, breaks or separations. It has the playwear and dings one might expect from a nearly 45 year old guitar that has been played. Played but not abused. It really is a sweet little 12 string. I showed some of the wear including a larger area on the treble side of the pickguard, some finish wear around the 8th fret. It has a fair amount of finish checking on the Spruce soundboard I think you can see in the pics, I tried to capture it anyway.Comes with its original hard shell case with the Royal Blue interior. The case handle is fine as are all the latches, no issues. Also, no offensive odors etc. There are several wear spots on the case down to the plywood but nothing that impacts the structural integrity of the case. Also comes with the Seymour Duncan soundhole pickup.Shipping is a flat $65 insured to anywhere in the lower 48 U.S. States via the USPS Priority Mail delivery system
