Rare is an over-used term on , but this really is a rare find in this condition. The very beautiful Sonia by Ottolini. This version is perhaps the most elegant and understated of all the Sonia dolls, in her classic pared-down oatmeal two-piece suit – with just a hint of fun at the waistline with the flared detail. Every bit the 1960s high-society lady, from her original coiffed bob right down to the hand-painted molded-on high heel shoes. We have included a wooden stand, based on the hard-to-find original, with a single peg that inserts into one foot, so she can be displayed to perfection!Sonia was made in Italy by the Ottolini company and dates back to the early 1960\'s. She is made out of a special material that was used for dolls in Italy, not exactly composition and not a hard plastic either, somewhere in-between.
Her wig is of ash blonde human hair that is in its original set. She has big blue flirty eyes, with full eyelashes. There are some light scuffs to one eyelid (see pictures of eyes closed) and the eyes are prone to sticking a little, but they do still work. She has full coral lips and vibrant blush, with delicate eyebrows and smoky eye shadow. All fingers are present and the paint on her fingernails is 100% intact and her painted high heel shoes are also intact. Her body paint is over all good and she is correctly marked under her wig in the back \"OTTOLINI C & D MOD. DEP. Made In Italy.\"
