Offered for sale is this old single bit axe head. It is marked TRUE TEMPER, FLINT EDGE,
KELLY WORKS. The head weighs about 3-1/2 pounds. Measures 7-1/2 inches long with a
cutting edge of about 4-3/4 inches. The handle has been cleanly removed. The eye looks
fine. There is surface rust, light pitting and minor poll peening. A fun restoration project
just in time for the fall wood cutting season.
