Vintage 40s 50s Champion Knitwear T-shirt Ft. Madison Bloodhounds Iowa Xs S For Sale
Amazingly cool vintage high school athletic t-shirt, for the FT. MADISON BLOODHOUNDS at Ft. Madison High School in Iowa, apparently (thanks Google!) The shirt is a CHAMPION KNITWEAR blank, still pretty White actually, not too dingy. The water based ink print is wonderfully worn and faded, in red. Short sleeves, thin banded collar and a longer fit, not as boxy as the other shirt I'm selling. The size tag reads SIZE 38... it measures like a modern XS - EXTRA SMALL, I would say... theCHEST measures approximately 33 inches around and the length is about 24.5 inches from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem! The t-shirt is vintage so it's obviously well worn/used and shows it... it's thinned out, and the print is faded, and there is some minor spots and a couple of holes... nothing horrible, it is wearable. There is a little bit of a seam separation under the right sleeve, on the seam itself that I don't show, e-mail me if you need to see it! Overall, it looks good, seems like it could hold up to wearing, but would be great as-is for a collection! The shirt is totally "as found" I haven't tried to clean it at all!
