Featured for sale is a fine example of the Vintage 1970s GUILD S-100 GUITAR,in the Cherry Red Finish.This rarely-seen example of GUILD Artistry features an offset double cutaway MAHOGANY Body, Black Pickguard with GUILD Logo, steel reinforced adjustable set MAHOGANY Neck, 22 fret fully bound ROSEWOOD Fingerboard with inlaid pearloid block Position Markers, 24-3/4\" scale, 1-21/32\" width at the Nut, Blackface Peghead with inlaid pearloid \"Chesterfield\" & \"GUILD\"Logo, 3-per-side GUILD open gear Chrome Tuners,Metal Bridge with individual bridge saddles adjustable for height and intonation, Vibrato Tailpiece, and Chrome Hardware.The Electronics Package features two Chrome Humbucker Pickups with adjustable pole pieces, controlled by a 3-position toggle Pickup Selector Switch and a rotary Volume and Tone Control for each Pickup. Simple and Elegant!This fine professional-quality Guitar is in Excellent Operating and Good Vintage Cosmetic Condition (see photos): some visible fretwear (not affecting playability), assorted nicks, dings and scratches onthe body and neck, initials \"M.W.\" engraved on the back of the headstock, and what appears to be a well-executed professional repair of the neck at the base of the headstock (has black sprayed finish behind the nut). There are no visible repaired cracks with the replaced finish. The instrument plays easily, with a straight neck and fast action.... no buzzing along the entire length of the fingerboard.
