This listing is for a vintage 800 Silver Souvenir SPOON that has the City Crest (coat of Arms) symbol on the end of the handle.
There is also a Fleur De Lis Symbol on the back of the \'crest\' symbol -see images.
These are symbols of FLORENCE, ITALY.

This item was recently purchased from an estate (along with other Italian souvenir spoons that I am also listing on -so be sure to look at the other items I have listed.)

SPECIFICATIONS:

This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report.

Material: 800 silver (and possibly remnants of a vermeil gold wash on the silver ?)-see images.

Signed: marked 800 in the bowl of the spoon

Dimensions: This item measures about 5\" or so long at the largest points.

Weight: 15 grams

Condition:
This item is in decent vintage condition with some signs of age/wear and use.

The silver has no large dents/major scratches that I can find, though there are some small scratches/tiny dings, dimples, wear and imperfections on the silver as you expect to find on estate silver items-see images.
the silver has some wear to the details of the designs -areas where the details are worn smooth, as well as some spotting, dings and imperfections. -see images.
the crest symbol has 6 balls on a \'shield\' form -this represents the Medici family\'s coat of arms.
The silver \'ball\' details are hollow, and you can see the holes in the ends where they weren\'t oriented to hide the holes -this is how this item was made originally -see images.
The silver might have remnants of a vermeil gold wash ? -though much is worn away -exposing the silver below -please see images.
The silver also has some patina, tarnish and discoloration in some areas, and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in some areas (if desired).

All in all, I would have to say that this item is in decent vintage condition, with some signs of age/wear and use.
