Hello, you are offerding on a vintage circa 1960-70\'s lovely ANRI/THORENS wooden carved music box. It plays \"Waltz of the Flowers\" which was extremely popular as a music box tune at that time, and even until today.
The movement is in very good playing condition. It is produced by THORENS, one of the best music movement makers in existence. The base is wound with a key from underneath and rotates upon its support as shown in the photos. There is a pull knob to start and stop the music. The box is an ANRI design, a young boy with a hornpipe sitting on a log bench near a fence with a bird perched cheerily on the post. A sweet baby deer listens quietly at his feet. As typical of ANRI, the figures are adorable. It is approximately 7+ inches in height. Because of the fragility of shipping music movements this box is not returnable, but it will be carefully wrapped and carefully sent.
