Vintage nicely detailed spinning rotating wooden music box that works! Plays Dites- Moi (Tell Me) written by Rogers and Hammerstein for the musical South Pacific in the 1940\'s. The little girl is wearing an apron which may indicate a servant of some sort, maybe a nanny or a babysitter. It has a wood carved baby in a baby\'s bed with a bird sitting on it, and has wooden flowers and a butterfly on it. Very sweet piece and a great addition for a collector of vintage music boxes. It doesn\'t appear to have any missing pieces, but I can not find another Anri music box like this one to compare it to. It winds up from the bottom of the base by rotating the silver metal piece clockwise. There is a small wooden knob on the side of the wooden base that serves as the on off switch, when pulled out, it plays the music and spins, when pushed in, it stops. The music box base has 3 wooden poles that hold up a gazebo like top. The clothes that the little girl is wearing are made of cloth.
