This is a beautiful cold cast, hand painted poppy flowered Art-Deco jewelry box! It is in pristine condition with no tears, breaks. Tags are found on the bottom: 1) Summit Collection Arcadia, CA and the other 2) partially removed bar code tag. This box was only used for display purposes.
The Art Nouveau period dates from c. 1890 - 1918; however this jewelry box is signed with \"@2010 VERONESE\". This is a modern box. I do not know if it is a reproduction or an inspired piece from the Art Deco movement. It is a beautiful piece.This jewelry box is not a toy.
Approximate size is 6.5\" length X 4\" wide X 4.25\" high (16.51cm length X 10.16cm wide X 10.80cm high) and 1.71lbs (780g) in weight.
