This sale is for the highly sought after and hard to find pair of Acoustic Research AR LST speakers in immaculate condition with their original shipping boxes, documentation from Acoustic Research Inc.,original sales brochure, owner’s manual and crossover schematics. The original shipping boxes are also in excellent condition. Included in this sale is an extra set of brand new white AR LST grill cloth covers.The cabinets are the original AR oiled-walnut color with only the most minor imperfections. There are no chips or any kind of damage to the cabinets just very minor scratches that you will only see if you are within inches from them.These scratches are less than 1mm deep and can be easily refinished. There are also tiny snags and holes on the original grill cloth covers. Please take a look at the pictures. Badges, tone control knobs and fuses are original, and the tone control (Spatializer) switch work perfectly. All the drivers are original and have been tested to be in perfect working condition. The woofers have been professionally re-foamed with surrounds from AR, the fuses and holders cleaned, capacitors replaced with premium Bennic and Solen (black) caps, woofers rotated 180 degrees. This pair is ready to play music for its new owner for another 40 years.
