For your consideration is this all original Vintage Alfred Dunhill Solid Sterling Silver Rollagas with an elegant Engine Turned Design Pattern encircling the ignition mechanism - this is among one of the first lighters that was designed by Alfred Dunhill - his major contribution was when he made improvements to the Wise & Green Lift Arm Lighter his first major insight was to farm out his lighters to many different artists and allow them the freedom to embellish his lighters as they saw fit which is why there are so many different variations of color and design on the wraps of there early Dunhill Lighters - This is one of the first models made by Dunhill in the early to late 1920’s -this is a B size -there are four different sized lift arm lighters in the Dunhill Line which are referred to as “A, B, C, & D” models A being the smallest compact pocket model and D being the huge approx 5.5 inch tall table Lift Arm Lighter- This design pattern came out in the late 1930’s this particular Lighter I believe to have been produced in 1968 but you can check that out using the date Hallmark stamped onto the bottom of the case - this one is fully Hallmarked for 925 - the Dunhill logo and the 925 Silver Purity stamp are on the bottom as well - please review -all of the photos as they are considered part of the description - this is a fully functional piece with a strong spark - this is a Dunhill Unique Sterling Rollagas Butane Lighter this one is fully functional with new o-rings recently installed by Dunhill -The Case is solid Sterling silver with a Makers Mark - date Mark and 925 Sterling Silver Hallmark on the bottom of the case -see pictures ! The flint chamber has a crack in it however the lighter is still fully functional and will come with a replacement Flint Chamber if you wish to have it replaced it is included in the sale if desired - only reasonable offers will be entertained !
