This is a Vintage Antique 1912 Wardrobe Theatrical Steamer Trunk that is in all original condition, no replacement parts. This trunk is completely original and antique, for it was made in the year 1912 and was used to store and transport wardrobes and theatre costumes with you on a car or train. I am not sure of the maker of the piece for there was no manufacturer markings on the piece from what I could see. However, it waspatentedin 1912 on the trunk itself so it is an authentic piece pre-1950. See the pictures for the engraving.The condition of this item is an original with all working drawers and hangers along with the latches on the front of the piece being in their original state. The inside pull out drawers have unique pull downcompartments.There is wear to the bottom of the pull out storage and the latch, but that is to be expected for a piece that isover 100years old. This item has been stored in my house for the past decade and has been very well taken care of since it is a rare and valuable piece.
