Gorgeous lot of 13 cameos - should I say 13 lucky cameos for Friday the 13th starting at 1300!( plus3 newerless expensive pieces - the little earrings pictured / likely 80s or newer and plastic and a whiting davis plastic cameo likely 70s 80s and the Van dell gold filled pin which may have just had a cameo glued on). These are on consignment from one collector who now wishes to pass some of her treasures on. Please read entire description before purchasing, and ask any questions up front. I am not a fine jeweler and so will do my best to answer your questions! I do believe most of these to be Victorian / early century, although some could be as late as the 1940s.
1 - 10K pin, marked, she is the high profile face in a beautiful whitish pink, the frame appears somewhat uneven, but perhaps that was the way it was constructed? Approx 1 1/4 by 1 inch.
4- unmarked pieces (the photo with the large cameo and the stick pin and the little extra plastic earrings marked above - so, actually 4 unmarked pieces but I am not counting inexpensive earrings in item count!). There is a stick pin - pretty shell cameo, unmarked and a very pretty shell cameo pin with bale surrounded by what I assume are faux pearls, unmarked, may be gold plated. And the superstar - the very large 2 1/2 by 2 inch scenic cameo, the pin does have a bend in it. A second superstar - unmarked and in photo by itself - the etched bangle with central cameo, may be gold plated or filled.
3(+1 extra)- marked gold fill pieces, a Gorgeous Edwardian / late Victorian looking necklace - may have a makers name I cannot read. A beautiful pin - 1 1/2 inches by 1 inch, frame looks like Black Hills gold - is Amco, so pretty. The magnificent lady driving the horses pin 1 1/4 inch by 1 inch, so pretty and finally the Van Dell pin with the cameo on - likely not a shell cameo and I am not counting this in item count.
5 pieces marked 800 - the 1 inch by 3/4 inch pendant with matching earrings set. The chain is a long gold filled chain. Then, although they are not a set, there is a filigree bracelet with 5 panels marked 800, each panel is approx. 1 inch at widest and bracelet is 7 1/4 inches + long, so pretty. The very nice filigree earrings are marked 800 as is the very pretty 3 panel necklace.
