Vintage Antique Pioneer Praire Civil War Era Victorian Handmade Cotton Blouse :
Vintage Antique Edwardian Victorian Blouse Lace Pleating High Neck Free People.Description
Antique 100 year old Lined Cotton womens blouse appears to have been home made with a sewing machine, so I am dating the Blouse to the late 1800s, or early 1900s. Especially since I have many of the womens blouses and this lady's photo must have been taken around 1860.
please see dated shirt listing to view original owners photo (last photo)In Good wearable antique condition with the fabric has not been worn away and is still sturdy and wearable. There are stains but I consider this item very wearable and great for re enactments. They are photographed and if anything the photography enhanced the discoloration. The fabric is a medium weight cotton with a black and white print .Summer blouse with no lining. I would hand wash it with hand soap to avoid fiber break down.
I have measured to the best of my ability
waist approx. 16 1/2"
back length is 15" to waist
sleeves are 3/4 measuring 20" from the arm pit to cuff
Hook and eye closures at the waist
This garment is in good condition ( due to stains) please view photos
This blouse would be great if just used for decoration.Definition of vintage condition:
