Vintage Antique SEARS,ROEBUCK & CO Store Catalog Celluloid Button Wall Egg Timer
Unusual old Sears, Roebuck and Co. advertising premium. "Sears, Roebuck and Co. Worlds Largest Store, 24 Hour Service, We Pay Postage". Its a 3-1/2", celluloid covered tin disc with cardboard backing, and a glass, hourglass, timer mounted on the front in the center. Timer is attached with a clasp that allows it to turn. Hole on the top for hanging on the wall. It was one of the premium's Sears offered in the 1930's to promote catalog sales.Manufatured for Sears by the Parisian Novelty Company of Chigago, marked on the edge. It is in very nice condition still. Complete, no tears, holes cracks to the celluloid covering. A small area of discoloring on the one side/edge. Hourglass is in excellent condition, works great, no damage. Thanks for looking.
