Vintage Antique Singing Bird In Brass Cage Automaton Music Box For Repair E Nr For Sale
You are offerding on a 9" tall brass wind-up singing bird in cage. The bottom has the winding key, there is a switch with three settings that reads "intermittent", "continual" and "stop" - all of the settings work. The bottom is also stamped with the cursive capital letter "E" with a little bird in the center. The beak does not move, the tail is broken off but the bird does sing and turn. The bird's feathers are mostly missing and the velvet needs to be reattached, the workings look to be in good condition but in need of a cleaning, it seems to be a bit slow.
