we believe this is an old snuff bottle??but not,, sure no chips or breaks, and has a grazing pattern through out, not sure of what to make of the the designs? almost looks like a beetle / bug and a leaf. a little staining inside and around the edge of the top, bottom is marked made in japan and right around the bottom rim there is some sort of makers mark, shown in the last 2 pics. thats all i can tell you. fairly nice cond. please use pics, or email if we can help further. international through ky. only. thank you
