Here is a great Thanksgiving turkey who is quite old. He has the look of the oldest Made in USA Halloween pieces, like those by Luhrs. The colors are unique to the older printing process. This guy is in good shape with no surface tears, tape marks, etc. He might be a hair warped, but should flatten nicely under a book. On one side, he is printed Made in USA in the image area. Beneath it, where the pumpkin folds out, it says Turkey Gobbler centerpiece made in U.S.A. with a patent no. 1,593,647and an item no. 5814. The other side says “Use for Table Centerpiece or in other ways for Autumn Decoration”. He looks to be unused. The honeycomb has not been folded out until I did one side for the photo. Measures 8 ½” tall at the tail and 6 ½” across.
