Iconic Design! Offered is an important American Art Deco streamlined Moderne design chair. Manufactured by Lloyd Loom Products, Menomine, Michigan and designed by Kem Weber ca. 1937. A pivotal figure in early Southern California Modernism helping to define American Modernism while shaping the important West Coast variant. His designs are iconic in furniture design of the period...beautiful tubular steel/chrome. Working with the best in the industry, Llyod, in developing tubular-steel manufacturing.... it was a great marriage of design and industry. This has been in my personal collection for 30 years...one of my first important acquisitions...remade in beautiful high quality black leather. Original paper label (photo #3). Dimensions: 31\" tall x 21\" wide x 21\" deep...In excellent vintage condition...leather fabulous...the chrome has normal age related wear...the chrome hand polished...looks wonderful...perfect patina!
