Vintage Art Deco Necklace Machine Age Glass Beads & Caps 1920s 1930s Czech For Sale
Vintage Art Deco necklace with unusually shaped glass beads and brass end-caps. They have typical 'Machine-Age' styling; looking as though the shapes have been influenced by cogs / industrial parts. From the colours used and the overall design the necklace is most likely of Czech / Bohemian manufacture. It is in good vintage condition and has recently been re-strung. The necklace is approx 16 inches long. The section at the front with the fancy beads is approx 7 inches long. The 'cog' beads are approx 5/16ths inch long x just over 3/8ths inch wide (8mm x 10mm). The small round black and yellow beads are approx 3mm in diameter. The round red beads are slightly larger at approx 4mm. The coloured beads are separated by small round clear glass spacer beads.
