New to , but have been collecting for 40 years, and now it\'s time to sell.
I purchased the collection of old photographs of a former sports writer, from Cumberland, MD. He passed away in the early 1970s, so all of the photos are from before then. I\'m not an expert in dating photos, but I believe this print is from the time the Babe played for the Boston Braves, and not a later reprint.
The photo has a couple of light creases and what looks like a staple hole mark just to the right of the Babe\'s right knee. It has writing in pencil on the back - \"Babe Ruth - Boston Braves\".
