PLEASE NOTE and PLEASE READ: These knobs are antique -vintage, used and may or will show some signs of being worn and used. Most Radio knobs on my listings are dating back some 40-80 + years- This often means that scratches, nicks, scuffing and molding defects are normal in vintage used parts. They have been exposed to many different Environments and conditions. There may or will be minor warpage, discoloring, decay, fading, pitting, and other flaws that are normal in vintage used parts. Wood Knobs may have a flaking finish or varnish, layers of old finish, stain or build up of cleaning polish. There can also be nicks, minor cracks, or other surface marks.
Any defects that are obvious or could affect use, appearance or functionality will be noted on the listing, all knobs are listed AS-IS. All knobs are given a complete visual inspection and have been cleaned and polished. I do my best to find and list any defects- however, I can miss things. The knob(s) is ready to install and use on your vintage tube radio, T.V. vintage electronic equipment or other application you intend to use it for.

These knobs have come from many different places and experienced many different Environments that add to their condition. At times, there can be non-visible defects. Way back in the mid 1960\'s he started repairing and restoring Vintage Radios and T.V\'s to sell at numerious Antique shows, flea markets and Antique Shops. Over those many years he restored 1,000\'s Radios and TV\'s. He continued his radio TV work until his death in 2009.
My Dad passed on a lot of wisdom to me. In 2005 I started to sell Radio and TV tubes, knobs, parts here on and at the Illinois Antique Radio Club meet \"Radiofest\" in Aug each year. It is always my policy to offer quality vintage radio and TV items at a fair price here on .

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)Q: What makes these Vintage Knobs that you list so shiny? Is there a gloss coating on them like clear coat or polyurethane?
A:Forst of al...NO! There is NO clear coat or polyurethane on the knobs I offer here (unless noted). I use a special polish that rejuvenates the Wood, Plastic, Bakelite, and Metal and I polish them to the best shine I can get from them - The shine does not last, I suggest you polish the knob when you receive it with a microfiber cloth and a standard furniture polish or use boiled linseed oil on the cloth and buff to the desired shine.
Q: How old is this knob?
A: I often generalize the date of the knob manufacturer period or used period of that knob (1930\'s-40\'s). I do not consider myself an expert on knobs or Radio Equipment, so the dates of most of these knobs I list here are guesses. I often have those folks that ARE and have a better knowledge in this area correct me on my listing and I appreciate them for doing that. in most cases I can make an accurate guess based on styling and composition of the knob to a relatively close date and particular knobs are dated based upon their styling for a particular manufacturer and production line of a model of that radio or tv.
Q: So why FREE Shipping? If I buy a couple of knobs or a bunch of items from you is it still free shipping?
A: I am like you, I am much more likely to buy something if the shipping is FREE, Com\'on who does not like free shipping? Bottom line: FREE SHIPPING no matter the quantity you buy from me - no kidding. I do combine shipping where I can.
Q: Why is Shipping to Canada not free?
A: Shipping to Canda is not as easy to process as general shipping to the USA and simply is expensive. I keep my shipping lower than the actual cost. so you do save a little there at least.
Q: Why do you list many of your knobs individually and not in sets?
A: I have found over the many years of selling RADIO & TV Knobs that most of my customers only need 1 knob and not a set. I get that, in many cases, I have only one of a particular knob and will hold it back from listing until a mate can be found for it or enough to complete a 3-4 piece set. If I do have a nice set I will often list them together. Basically, I would rather list them separately so if you only need one you do not need to pay the set price and be forced to have a second knob just sitting around when someone else may have the need for just one knob too.
Q: What happens if I buy a knob and it does not fit or work right on my particular Radio, TV or equipment? or what if I am not happy with the item?
A: I gladly offer a \"no hassle\" 30-day return policy. Often I can work something out with you if you contact me first. If you choose to return an item- Just pay to ship for the return and after receiving the item back, I will refund the money that you originally paid. Q: What if I am looking for a particular knob or knobs and I can not find it in your listing?
