Very rare early 1960s Morocco tribal rug from Beni Mguild tribe area (next to Beni Ourain area) middle Atlas mountains. This rug comes from my fathers collection and sourced in the 1960s by him in Morocco and is a very rare specimen now - for a special collection.This rug tells the story of the galaxy and has symbols for magic purpose
This extremely rare tribal rug is in excellent condition and would suite a designer room in New York artisan scene or executive suite
Do not be fooled by modern remakes.
Measures 182 width (6 ft ) and 219 long with tassle (7 ft 2 inch 1/2) almost a square shape - this dimensions is rare and hard to find unless vintage.
The rug is made from pure wool and camel hair tassle, and is coloured with natural dyes Henna (does not wash out).
