Vintage Blenko Hand Blown Glass Decanter - #562 - Teal For Sale
This is a vintage Blenko hand blown glass decanter with cut-out notch and applied disk foot, catalog number 562, designed by Wayne Husted c.1956. This is an unusual design and I've only seen just a couple over the last 6 or 7 years on , so they are very hard to find. This one is about 13 1/2" tall. Nice teal color.I typically ship glass via USPS Priority Mail insured with Delivery Confirmation. I do an excellent job at packing glass for shipment, even though that adds weight and cost to the shipment. My goal is for it to arrive intact to you! For shipment that are in boxes larger than 1 cubic foot I typically use UPS. I can combine shipment on multiple pieces, but only if I believe it is safe to do so. Sometimes putting too many pieces in one box can increase the risk of breakage. Tip: Please note that it is winter time and it can be cold out. If your package is left outside in the cold if you are not there to receive it when the carrier drops it off, please do not open the package for a couple hours to let the temperature gradually rise. Hot air in your warm home can crack really cold glass that has been left outside, so please don't unwrap the glass immediately. (I've learned that the hard way!)
