Vintage Blenko Hand Blown Glass Decanter Bottle - 566 - Tangerine Overlay:

This sale is for a vintage Blenko hand blown glass decanter bottle, catalog #566, a Wayne Husted design from the 1956 line up. Note the beautiful tangerine overlay on the clear bottle - nice. Unfortunately, the stopper is not original to the piece, but it is Blenko and from the same era. (Looks to me like a stopper for a 5427S). Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. About 9.25\" tall, 7.25\" wide, and 3.5\" deep.

Seasonal Note: We\'re into the winter season and some cold weather. If you receive a package with glass and it\'s been sitting out in the cold for a while please resist the temptation to open it immediately in your nice warm house. Sudden temperature changes are no good for Blenko glass and can lead to stress cracks. Items with handles or applied decorations are particularly vulnerable, so please take care! Give the package a few hours to warm up slowly. I know from experience, it\'s worth the wait!

I do an excellent job at packing glass for shipment, even though that adds weight and cost to the shipment. My goal is for it to arrive intact to you! For shipment that are in boxes larger than 1 cubic foot I typically use UPS. I can combine shipment on multiple pieces, but only if I believe it is safe to do so. Sometimes putting too many pieces in one box can increase the risk of breakage.
