Up for sale is this ornate and gorgeous vintage clock. I am not sure when it was made but I was told it is by Blue Delft and is Dutch made. On the front there are ornate brass colored designs of people, scroll, etc. and it reads Nu Elck Syn Sin. There is a figure holding a ball above him which has gold stars and a half moon. The tiles are at the face of the clock and at the bottom portion which are blue and white--the top has flowers and the bottom has a windmill scene. The pendulum is of a man riding a horse and it attached inside the clock. The hour and minute hands are brass colored and are also very ornate in design. There is a brass colored ornate design at the bottom of the clock area as well. On the sides of the clock there are two dark and gold swirl columns but one has come off and needs to be glued back--see photo. When the clock reaches the hour there is a bell on the top near the man holding the ball and a small piece hits the bell to \"ding\" for each hour. when I put the hands on the hour and moved the pendulum it struck the bell but Not At the Correct Hour--It would strike more times than it should or less times than it should. Not sure why it is doing this but probably could be fixed to \"ding\" correctly but I do not want to say the clock works as it is not keeping time but hopefully someone could fix this--not sure as I am not an expert on clocks. It is approx. 19 1/2\" when measured from the back tip bottom to tip of top. The clockwork inside is marked which numbers, etc. but I could read Franz Hermle . There is a hole on back for hanging on your wall. Shipping is based on the weight of the clock in a box and it over 13 lbs. This stunning clock is so ornate and would really look wonderful in any home.
