This vintage Johnson & JohnsonBrunswick Silk Dental Floss Tin is in excellent condition.c. 1930\'s.Johnson & Johnson started making silk dental floss around the 1890\'s,with the left over silk from the sutures they were already manufacturing.In 1898, they had marketed waxed and unwaxed silk dental floss.Production of silk dental floss was switched to nylon in 1941because the silk was needed for parachutes during the war.
Tin has vibrant colors and graphics.1 1/8\" diameter1 3/8\" tall.
