Academy Award Model \"W\"by Bulova only made for a few years when Bulova sponsored the Academy Awards originally sold for $71.50 back in 1950s which is $800 in today\'s dollar value.

This is one of the most rare attractive and collectable models.

All matching the ribbed gold filled band matches the ribbed dial and ribbed case.

This is a purist watch with original factory dial and original golden hands with a powerhouse the 21 Jewel AK movement, the best Bulova ever made.

Academy Award watches date from 1952 -57 when they sponsored the Oscars.

Bulova Academy Award Models have only gone up in price and will gain more fan base because they are both a limited edition watch collectible and movie memorabilia since it is associated with the Oscars

(have been told they were given to Oscar nominees each year).

Each year the face was slightly changed with the hour markers going from dots to numbers and vice versa. One year was with a brown flat traditional dial.
