VINTAGE Christmas SANTA DECORATION

Adorable vintage Christmas holiday decoration measuring 6-1/2\" wide and 7-1/2\" tall. Featuring a flocked paper over cardboard fireplace complete with tiny rolled paper logs and even a pinky cotton flame, top edge is decorated with gold mica accented icicles, and a wonderful molded celluloid (I think) Santa rests on the mantle top. Sporting a wool beard, felt mittens, flocked hat and painted face, he clutches a small bottle brush tree in one arm. Marked JAPAN on the base, decoration dates to the 1950s and condition is very nice with minor scuffing, edge wear and display wear - even the back is finished! Just an adorable old Christmas decoration - fun addition to any home, collection or display!
