RARE ESTATE FIND
Probably from mid-century, vintage Canada Eskimo Inuit Carved Green Jade Polar Bear. Bear is in a sitting position.
Many carving marks, wonderful expressive face. Could not resist making my head shot the gallery picture.
Wonderful marbling in the stone, as glossy as glossy gets. Just beautiful.
All pictures taken in outdoor natural light. Any white areas you see are reflections.
Measures four inches tall and about four inches across the base from front to back.
