Stamped on the sheepsfoot blade Tang is CASE XX, U.S.A, ... 3 dots and 6488 on the back.Stamped on the pen blade Tang is CASE XX, U.S.A, \"....\" 4 dots.
This is a Vintage 1970s Large Congress knife in Very Good Condition.
Knife has a Beautiful Bone Handle in great condition.
This knife has a pinned shield with nickel silver bolsters and brass liners.
Made by CASE in 1970s in the USA.Length 4 1/8 inches closed.
Condition is very good with patina on blades (see photos).Blades have patina but has NO rust or NO pits and NO signs of use or wear (see photos).Blade edges are clean and very sharp (see photos).The Blades are tight with good snap and no wobble.The Handle shows NO sign of wear and has NO cracks or chips.
This knife is a part of a private collection and Never Used.The owner, Joe Z., was a talented engineer who collected small tools in which he found beauty.As a young man, Joe enlisted in the U.S. Army and was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division.He was stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky and served as a medic.
